Berry Dragon Fruit Smoothie

Recipe

Never tried. I always wing smoothies, but tbh, none of my smoothies taste good anymore since I got sick, so I might start following recipes for them.

Servings: 2

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen raspberries
  • 2 packets frozen dragon fruit (pitaya), (200 grams)
  • 1/2 cup frozen blackberries
  • 5.3 ounces strawberry yogurt (150 grams)
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice (1/2 lime)
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)

Optional Garnish:

  • chia seeds
  • berries

Steps

  • Add raspberries, dragon fruit, blackberries, yogurt, chia seeds, lime, and ginger to blender container.
  • Add milk, cover, and blend on high until smooth. Pause to scrape the sides of the container with a spatula as needed.
  • Pour smoothie into a glass and top with additional chia seeds and berries if desired.

Notes

  • If smoothie is too thick, add 1/4 cup milk and re-blend. If smoothie is too thin, add 1/4 cup berries or ice, and re-blend.
  • Substitute plain or vanilla yogurt for strawberry yogurt if desired.
